For almost 85 years, our family business has serviced its customers based on an honest, straightforward and socially responsible approach. Our company regularly sponsors causes which assist local community projects including providing disabled access lifts to horse riding facilities and sponsoring prizes for sculputure through the University of Hertfordshire. Our most well known contribution to the industry is the Charles Marques Memorial Lectures set up and funded by the Marques family and organised in association with the Institution of Lighting Engineers.

Today we are still the only UK based manufacturer able to produce variable tapered tubular columns incorporating parallel, straight tapered, convex and concave profiles on the same column.

To be confident in providing the quality and support our customers enjoy, we rely heavily on manufacturing products which meet the customer's technical performance but which are also appropriate for the environment into which they will be placed. Sometimes these aims are contradictory and it is then where the knowledge and experience of our staff is called upon by customers to ensure the best compromise of performance and durability is achieved.
In addition to our core manufacturing skills our company has a range of associated services which are concerned with helping to manage a customer’s risk associated with installation and use of the equipment.
