The folded sheet steel mast shown has been developed by CU Lighting for GSM cellular radio sites with limited access for servicing after installation has been completed.

The mast has been designed for heights up to and including 30 metres with a maximum 3 second gust wind speed of 51 m/sec.. The mast is a duodecagon (20 sided) section to give improved aerodynamic performance.

Access is by ladder with, if required, a cable tray fixed to the side of the ladder for supporting the feeders. Alternatively the feeders can be carried internally attached to a stainless steel catenary wire. A small platform is provided at the top.

The ladder can commence at ground level with an anti-climbing gate closed with a lock, or if required the ladder can commence at an agreed height above ground.

In both cases a fall arrest safety mechanism can be supplied if required.

Standard finish as supplied is Hot Dipped Galvanised to BS729.

Holding down studs are supplied complete with template for casting-in by others. Ground level loads will be
supplied to enable a foundation design to be carried out to suit local site conditions.
